During her stint at Goldman Sachs, Neelam had to come up with an idea for an initiative which would have a social impact as part of an internal competition and she came up with the idea of an inclusive workplace focusing on trans people in India.
Eventually, she realized she was passionate about this cause and so quit her corporate job to start working on bringing her idea into fruition. And thus, PeriFerry was born.
PeriFerry, as the name represents, roots its cause in ferrying people in their journey of the Individual and the Collective. We are dedicated to helping people find their way, in a world that’s largely not inclusive, of people with different constitution and abilities.
